Welcome to the Real World
On Friday (4/23/21) - JH 8th Graders got to experience "Welcome to the Real World"
This is an activity that is with April Littig with the U of I Extension office. In the past the students usually went to Hamilton's for this, but this year Mrs. Littig came to the school. The students practiced life in the real world by choosing a job, a place to live, a car, and other expenses. They then had to pay their bills by writing checks and seeing if they were able to come out on budget or in debt. It's a fun learning experience for all and helps them get to thinking about the lives they will choose for themselves!
