Dental Health Month - Mrs. Little's Class
Mrs. Coon talked to the kindergarteners about dental health. She had the students identify many different food/drink items and say if each is healthy or unhealthy for our teeth. Mrs. Coon talked to the kinders about brushing and flossing our teeth and the importance of doing both. Finally, she did an experiment where she had a hard boiled egg sitting in water and an egg sitting in soda. The eggs represented our teeth, and showed what happens to our teeth if we don’t brush them. Colgate supplied a new toothbrush and toothpaste to each kindergartener. Thank you, Mrs. Coon, for coming to our room and talking to us about dental health!
