Good Afternoon, This message is for all Pre-K families: 1. Pre-k Morning Class drop-off starts at the cafeteria doors at 7:40 am. Any student arriving by bus or car will enter through the cafeteria doors for breakfast or gym lineup. 2.Pre-K students that would like to eat breakfast will enter through cafeteria doors. 3.Mrs. Ogden and Mrs. Rueter will arrive in the gym at 8 am and line students up. They will leave the gym after the last bus arrives (approximately 8:03 am) and head to the Pre-K room. 4. If the student does not want breakfast, a second option of drop-off is at the Pre-K doors when the Pre-K teachers return from gym line-up, approximately 8:10 am. 5. Pre-K aides will remain in the cafeteria with students who arrive later and would still like breakfast. 6. Parents may continue to drop off Pre-K students at the cafeteria doors until 8:20 am. 7.If students arrive after 8:20, please drop off at the Pre-K doors. Thank you and have a good weekend!

February is Heart Awareness month. This year we want to celebrate it with Hearts for Samara. Samara is a WHS Senior and had a Heart Transplant the summer of 2023. At this time she is having some medical issues with her heart and will be making many trips to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. You can purchase a Heart for $1.00 in the school offices during the month of February. You can put your name and/or a message to her on the heart and we will be posting them around the school for her. All proceeds will go to Samara to help with travel expenses.

*All orders marked "Winchester Pickup" have been delivered to the Winchester High School. The location for pickup is in the school office + orders can be picked up during school hours (8-3:30) today, tomorrow + Monday. Students can come to the office to pickup their orders at the end of the day. There is a sign out sheet for all individuals to sign + date when picking up their orders.

JH - 8th Grade Night This will take place tomorrow night, January 21, in Bluffs when the Cougars take on Rushville. All JH 8th grade basketball players and cheerleaders will be recognized prior to the start of the 8th grade game.

The Winchester Kiwanis were honored on Night #3 of the WIT They are celebrating their 100 year Anniversary🎉 The club was organized in July 1925, and has served Winchester and Scott County ever since. Most notably, the monthly food pantry, the annual Christmas Basket Delivery, and the annual Scholarship Program. They currently sponsor the WHS Key Club. Thank you to our Kiwanis for their community support as they work to serve the children of the world 🏀

Jr High Winter Sports Pictures will be Wednesday, January 29th right after our 2:15 dismissal. The sports will include: Basketball (Girls & Boys), Cheer, Jr High Volleyball.
