WGS is excited to introduce its first Business Operations class! Students proudly named their student-run business the Cougar Cafe. Throughout the class, students will take online and in-person orders, prepare and deliver drinks, provide customer service, manage inventory, advertise products, and help track sales and expenses.

These hands-on responsibilities will help students learn important concepts such as teamwork, communication, money management, marketing, organization, problem-solving, and the daily operations of a real business. The Cougar Cafe gives students the opportunity to build confidence and practice valuable workplace skills in a fun, real-world setting.

Most importantly, our students are learning how to run a business—while keeping the WGS staff happily fueled by caffeine!
