Physics Class Tests Bridges

 

The seniors in Physics class built model truss bridges from cardboard file folders, and then they tested them for adequate strength. They learned bridge terminology, construction techniques, and some basic concepts in physics and structural engineering. Jaydon Howard came in first - his bridge held 8,764 grams before one of its members snapped.
