WHS Veterans' Day Assembly

Winchester High School National Honor Society puts together the Veteran’s Day assembly every year. A lot of hard work and preparation goes into this event to ensure that it not only runs smoothly, but also is enjoyable for our veterans whom we wish to honor with this assembly. Immediately following the assembly a reception is held in the library. NHS students serve veterans cake and punch. During the assembly former Winchester High School graduate and recent Winchester business owner, Rebecca Barnett, gave a speech regarding her time in the Air Force. Rebecca recently retired from the service and moved back to Winchester to open the Russet Cup. Winchester High School would like to thank all veterans for their service and commitment to our country.
