Hug-a-Mug Cafe
Mrs. Valentine's Jr. High math students are operating a coffee cart business this year. They've named their business "Hug-a-Mug Cafe." The students take orders from Winchester Grade School staff members and make the coffee and specialty drinks. They deliver the drinks to staff 3 times a week. They are also responsible for collecting the money, counting it, and updating a spreadsheet on costs and income. The coffee cart has proven to be a huge success for both the students and the staff. Students enjoy making the coffee drinks and interacting with the staff while delivering the drinks. Profits from the Hug-a-Mug Cafe go into the Jr. High Specials Funds to help purchase classroom and personal materials for Jr. High students.
