Hello, my name is Austin Young and I am the owner and operator of Austin’s Pet-ography. I take photographs of people’s pets. My mission statement for Austin’s Pet-ography is, “Pictures are worth a thousand words and pets leave paw prints on your heart forever. Combining these two guarantees lasting memories for a lifetime.” In 2017, consumers in the U.S. spent $69.51 billion on pet products. Pets are an important part of people’s everyday lives. Unfortunately pets do not live as long as us people do, but through Austin’s Pet-ography customers benefit by receiving pictures that will last forever. Pictures show more than just what someone or something looks like. A picture has emotion, it tells a story, and most of all pictures give lasting memories that will never go away. With the opportunity to have the service of Austin’s Pet-ography, customers get more than just a picture, they get a personal connection and a personal memory with their favorite pets. A lot of photographers sell their services for $250.00 and higher, but I feel it is important to provide a service that is affordable to everyone. I believe anyone should be able to have the opportunity to have pictures of their beloved pets. The price for a session with Austin’s Pet-ography is $100.00. Cost includes a sitting fee, a thumbdrive or dropbox of all the pictures, and memories of your pets forever. It is up to the customer to do the session at their house, or one of my selected scenic locations. I feel that my business is unique to this area. My future plans are to donate my time to the local animal rescue shelters and use my business to help place their animals in their forever homes.
