Notice of Proposed Property Tax Increase
for Scott County Community Unit School District No. 1
I. A public hearing to approve a proposed property tax levy increase for Community Unit School District No. 1, Counties of Scott, Morgan and Greene, State of Illinois for 2019 will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the Board of Education Office at 149 South Elm Street in Winchester Illinois.

II. The total property taxes levied / extended for 2018 were $2,030,988.
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for 2019 are $2,117,379. This represents a 3.75 % increase over the previous year.
III. The number of bond issues in said school district that have not been paid in full is one (1). The levy for payment of this bond and interest is NOT included in the 2018 Certificate of Tax Levy total of $2,117,379.
