The Early Learning Center Building Lease has been paid off.  We had a 10 year lease that was paid for in 5 years.  The building is officially ours!

The 2015 Illinois School Report Card has been released today and can be found on the Illinois Interactive Report Card website.  The link to this site can be found on the bottom right of our district website.  Although there is much information shown, PARCC testing results have not been included at this time. 

The City Sewer Line Project should be finished next week with Cross & Elm back open soon.  The punch list is in progress which includes removing the mud from the parking areas, adding more rock and smoothing out Elm St.

The three district administrators and three teacher representatives have completed training on Teacher Evaluation Growth Modules.  Our PERA Joint Committee is now meeting to work out the student growth component of our teacher evaluation.

We discovered the cabling company installing fiber optic cabling throughout town bore through the sewer line coming out the Pritchett Building which caused the back up during the homecoming football game.  The line has been fixed.  Clean up and repair will be covered by the cable company. 

Squirrel guards have been placed on the transformer behind the grade school after power was knocked out for the third time in the past several years by unlucky squirrels.

  2. Reviewed and opened Jan.-June 2015 closed minutes

  3. Use of facilities – softball pitching practice

  4. Resignations – Jim McDowell (WGS Custodian) & Ryan Jefferson (WGS Boys Track Coach)

  5. Employed – Jimmy Neff (WGS Custodian), Nolan Roberts (WGS Boys Track Coach), Michael Mercier (WCC Head Baseball Coach), Ross Parcel (WCC Asst. Baseball Coach), Nolan Roberts (WCC Asst. Boys Basketball Coach), Brady Slagle (WCC Volunteer Basketball Coach)

  6. Memorandum of Understanding with Local #6115

  7. FY16 Administrative Salaries - $1,000.00 increase for each of these employee
